St Thomas market

One of the Christmas traditions in Helsinki is St Thomas market (Tuomaan markkinat) which opened today.

Old tradition in Finland is that all the work had to be done by the day of Tuomas which is 21st of December. So St Thomas market closes at 22nd of December.

Newer tradition are roasted almonds.
