Lights

Not the Christmas lights. These are the lamps that painted my yesterday's blip :). The function is still on. Supposedly a function for entering into a newly built house. People perform poojas, invite friends and relatives for the occasion. There were voices of children singing songs and playing around the house making lot of nosie. And of course music. Classic Hindi songs are being played. Its fun filled everywhere and these colourful lighting adds to the joy.

Contrary to our expectation we had our office working today. There were no buses running and the chances were grim that we would be asked to attend office. But the HR had asked regretfully to make alternate arrangements for commuting as the company buses will also not be plying.

So managed to go to office, and completed some long pending work too :)
