Alcock Tarn.

Keeping the old knees going and doing some of the lesser hills. Good to be away from the crowds, this is a view back to Alcock Tarn from near to Stone Arthur. Although a few people passed us on the way up to Fairfield we estimated that 40 to 50 people had made their way up to the tarn. It is a lovely place and I have camped up there on a couple of occasions but I have always been away long before the crowds get there.
