Western Approaches
From 1941 in WW2 the Battle of the Atlantic was co-ordinated from this basement under Derby House in Liverpool. From here the progress of convoys crossing the Atlantic was monitored as well as the positions of German U-Boats and other assorted toings and froings in and out of Liverpool. This is a faithful reconstruction of how the Ops Room would have been. It's a thought provoking place and I'm not really sure why I haven't been in there before.
This is 4 shot pano.
