The seabird song
Busy day today. First stop the Puffin Pool. Home then after breakfast, washing on, dishwasher emptied and then out in the garden to tidy up and trim some of the plants.
For lunch we had rolls that we sat eating by at Chanonry Point. A walk along what remained of the beach. The tide was rolling in, huge waves of bright blue splashing against the sand. Spotted this lone Black headed gull on the edge of the water. It's surprising how quickly they loose their white heads to a chocolaty brown one. They are a pretty seabird and are often found inland. There are normally a number of them lined up on the rails near the River Ness.
The wind was cold but it was lovely in more sheltered areas. Back to the garden and more sorting. The sun is now going down and I'm ready for my dinner :)
Good song
