Watch and Learn

This man was training his spaniels to 'seek and retrieve' in Hare Hill Park, Littleborough. They were incredibly good, working mainly to a quiet whistle and the occasional dog name.
Polly was fascinated by all this although I don't think she fully understood the 'retrieve' part of the exercise.
If you throw a ball for Polly she will go and do the 'seek' bit, but she works on the principle - if you've thrown it away, you don't want it anymore - therefore the 'retrieve' bit is superfluous :-)
