#999 #Grrrr #Ahhhh

What is it about Monday's, they either drag on and on or there are major disasters challenges.

Applied fix to website issue over weekend, very confident new script would work a treat. Checked this morning...Failed. (note BIG F). Tried new script. Failed. Contacted hosting company. Issue could be a conflict on server but they 'don't help with scripting' - first time ever they have let me down #grrrr. Multiple script attempts later and still no joy. {short interlude where panic sets in, cup of coffee, pointlessly wondering why I ever gave up smoking.....} Then I went back to basics, started with the original issue and looked for an alternative to pesky script for a fix. Plugin to the rescue, worked first time, no issues. Bought beer for plugin author, he said thank you, (love friendly people) life is good again. Whole schedule thrown into disarray, all behind schedule but.... the 999 emergency turned into an ahhh moment of joy when I knew it wouldn't suck the life out of me and the rest of my day.

Wowsers, that's a bit of a rant...very cathartic!

So, boring blip but sums up the day's agony quite well.
