Day 29 of DDW's March daily challenge - Euphonious

A busy day as usual at the moment especially for a Saturday, with the added extra of making a chocolate sponge cake for a friend's 85th birthday tomorrow.

This pendulum is part of a clock given to my mother when she retired (why do people get given clocks when they retire and aren't as bound by the time any more?), it strikes the hour and half hour with the traditional Westminster Chime (albeit in electronic form), once you're used to it it becomes Euphonious.
