Well not necessarily.

Just after shooting these, I discovered that neither Orchids, nor plastic "pots" bounce.
This necessitated re-potting the one on the left: which was, by then, brandishing a bare stick in the air.
The RHS flowered, both on a new stem and the old one I'd intentionally beheaded.
The LHS one decided "Duck fat for a game of toy soldiers, I WILL flower!"
And did, or, at any rate will.
I just thought I'd record both B4 RHS was finished.
