more fog

Yet another foggy day. Went to the Old Bell to see off one of the postdocs. Won the pub quiz... Eventually there will be blue skies again

This used to be the map place, now just more flats...

Update: now that I am in front of a proper computer and dealt with all the beer last night. This used to be the headquarters of Bartholomew map makers on Duncan Street. The building was built in 1911 and incorporates the façade of a former Bartholomew family home, Falcon Hall. As mentioned above, the place is now a set of flats. And maps are no longer made there.
