Like The Back Of My Hand

I haven't been blipping for over a week because I'd mislaid the camera lead and couldn't upload so I have a backlog. But that's not really the spirit of the site, is it? So I have a gap and now in one day, I give you 101 years. This is an installation outside Folkestone station and it's by the Strange Cargo Arts Company from 2004. It was commissioned to celebrate the millennium and is a series of bronze hands from 1900 to 2000, all from people born in that year. When I have to wait for the train to come back to Margate, I stop outside and look at them and wonder about the individuals now embedded in mosaic.
