Driving around

I had an hour to kill between work and my bike ride, which is apparently all you need in order to see amazing stuff, like:
2 Amish buggies racing each other (crazy kids)
1 kestrel
1 flock of snow geese in a cornfield
Several northern pintail ducks
2 baby ducks spinning in a circle of sunshine on still water, at the side of a stream
20 deer, grazing together on a hillside

I can't remember the last time I saw that many deer together, if ever.
And all of this was just waiting there, down a couple of roads I have never needed to use. And nobody seems to notice any of it. I guess I never used to, either.
