Peckham's Cider

After a bit of a blah but very productive day we went to a cider tasting at the Twisted Hop.

It was Peckham's cider, which I have had a few of before and loved!

And it was with complimentary food!

So first we had a pear cider and bacon and blue cheese pizza!

Then apple cider and pork, apple and pear skewers.

Then an elderflower cider and monkfish, which had a cider batter - the elderflower was one of my favourites and in the picture!

Then we had a "more manly apple cider" as our friend Stephen put it with roast apple, smoked cheese and horseradish toast.

Then boysenberry cider with red pepper and feta pizza.

And to finish it all off blackcurrant - kir - cider with a "surprise dessert" which turned out to be brandy snaps! I love the kir cider and I haven't had brandy snaps in such a long time!

All the cider was so fresh and flavourful! And I live listening to people who love what they do! It makes me so inspired!

It was a lovely evening gifted to us by Pete for Nicks birthday!
