Farewell

Our very last day in the field. Say farewell to alpacas and green sunny meadows, the dripping cloud forest and windswept paramo for a while in my blip. All the long work in the field, lectures, laughing, and hiking. Excitement and tedium are coming to a head.

We are heading back to Cuenca for final exams, papers, projects, reality and so on and so forth. All of us nostalgic to leave this beautiful place, though I count myself lucky to be returning again in only a month. For the students though this is it.

It makes me wonder how this place, how our experiences will affect their lives...I wonder how they will think back about this place? How these memories will transport, inspire, relive, and reawaken. I wonder....
