The Monster

This is actually a huge mound of overgrown water lillies, iris and water buttercups, and their extensive roots. They were growing in our little pond which has now been cleared, ready to re-plant.
Numerous newts live in the pond, but frogs do not frequent it. No idea why!
Water lillies anyone?
