The flowers around the War Memorial and a bee.

It is now a lovely sunny blue skied afternoon, but earlier it was cloudy and rainy.
My intention for blip today, was a collage showing the pretty white hyacinths and colourful polyanthus plants around the Rishton War Memorial.They look and smell tremendously lovely.
I more or less achieved this, but also waited patiently and at a safe distance, to capture a busy bee.
I am glad to have seen several big healthy looking bumble bees this year.
Will be shopping later on with Maria for a birthday present for my Mother in Law, who will be 85 on 14 04 2014.
She is a lovely woman, kind, understanding and a good cook.
