St Peter & St Paul Pickering

The inside of this Saxon church built before or around the 11th century.
its real claim to fame is its wall paintings just below the ceiling first discovered in 1851.
Although some what faded, they are quite a spectacular sight to see. If you ever visit Pickering its worth a look, afraid my shot does it no justice. To really appreciate you must see for yourself.
