Of a bygone era.....a sister's cell

This is what is was like when I entered in 1967!! we only had a little bookcase and at the bottom of the bed you can see the footbox. The mattress and pillow was straw!
In 1973 when we moved to Bothwell we could not get straw and some of us were delighted so we have normal beds now!!
