That's More Like It!

A much better day in Northumberland after lunch, unless you happen to be a mole. We have seen the sky for the first time since Friday after three days of fog was washed away by copious amounts of rain this morning. We have even seen that big yellow thing in the sky.

The mole washing line is a frequent if not particularly pleasant sight around these parts. It is thought that as the mole catcher is paid per mole that this is his way of displaying how successful he has been, a rural invoice! I don't know what the going rate for a mole is but times 33 must be a pretty good day.

I hope the sunshine returns tomorrow.
