Welcome Blue sky

I always feel better when we have blue sky , and whilst it took a while to come out, it was gorgeous when it did. Mr H , Reggie and I had a lovely walk through the woods at Hurst Wood, then over the canal at Dowley Gap to walk along the River Aire ( Reggie always likes to paddle in the Aire) back to Hurst Wood.

This lone tree is just where the canal aquaduct goes over the river. I've taken photos of it before but it has never quite worked with the sky, but I just loved the shadow in the field and I think it shows just what a lovely day it has been.

Spent some time in the garden replanting my herb bed, Mr H has cut the lawn for the first time this year, and I've looked at the Met office forecast for tomorrow and it is going to be dull and grey again. Thank goodness we made the most of it today.
