Clemenceau

We found a beautiful bust of the French WWI Prime Minister, Clemenceau, which would have made a fabulous centre-piece for the table in the hall. But at £1000 pounds, and not yet having bought said table, we decided to give it a miss, in spite of changing our minds twice and once going back for him.

Fortuitously, on the return visit, we found and bought a gorgeous old pine grandfather clock which will sit in the kitchen! Photo to follow!
