Be still my (formerly) beating heart.

Today I got to do a double pith on a frog. This entailed catching it from the tank, snipping its head and scrambling it's spinal cord and brain. This ensures that the frog suffered as little as possible. Then we extracted the heart which is able to be kept alive with various solutions.
