Antique Curling Stones

Otherwise known as 'Channel stanes' these were in use in Scotland from c1600 up to the end of the eighteenth century. I don't know how exactly old these are, but I'm sure they saw many a competition.

*Channel stanes were simply boulders of diverse size and shape found in burns and rivers to which a handle was attached.
