Casualties of Blip
White and I decided to do two different takes on the same subject today - namely, her poor ailing camera.
Still not working, but showing some signs of life. Fingers crossed.
Thought the two shots illustrated well how two pictures of the exact same subject can come out completely different, depending on the photographer, and his or her individual style and perspective.
Also, having a loss in the family like this really drives home how much we depend on our tools. A photographer without a camera is just some weird guy crawling around on the ground and staring at bugs and flowers.
Thus, this gets tagged for Assignment2: Dependence Day.
(Also, lest I run afoul of any rules - the wave reflection is, in fact, a photo of the blip referencing the catastrophe on my computer screen, taken today.)
