Careful Where You Go

The big yellow roadsign tells you that to get to Falkirk you should take the A803. And the white one behind? It points to Linlithgow, along the A803.

You might perhaps think that if you want to get to Falkirk, you should follow that road?

Well, don't. It will take you away from Falkirk! What you want is to take the exit that comes two exits after the one you see, and thta takes you along the A803 towards Falkirk!

It's pretty obvious if you know exactly where you are, but if you come off the motorway after a long drive, not knowing the area? Hmm... I wonder how many people have been caught out?
