Bridge Lift

The end of a major quest - a photo of a Tower Bridge Lift! Everything came together for this - I knew about the timing from the notice on the bridge when Malcolm and I visited on Sunday, so I packed my camera. I mentioned it to a colleague in the office in Edinburgh on Monday and he noticed the lift was for HMS Puncher *which*he*had*served*on*, I found a recommended viewing spot on t'internet and checked it out this morning before work, and I made it back there before 9PM to get the shots. The bridge was up and down again within 15 minutes!

This completely made my day, which was otherwise fairly frustrating.
