Dawn redwood tree

I had an appointment with the dentist this morning and thankfully got all good news. Yay for clean teeth, healthy gums, and no cavities! Then I headed to the Arboretum for a walk because the sun was shining. That's where I saw this amazing tree that apparently was thought to be extinct for over 20 million years until it was rediscovered in China in 1945. Weather update: Real spring weather for the second day in a row. Unfortunately, much cooler temps are predicted for the next four or five days (or longer). Let's hope winter doesn't decide to return.
