Toad in the road

Today when I came home from work - this little beast was sitting on my front path. A short while later I took Angus out for a walk, and the toad remained. Upon our return he had somehow ( I suspect a cat) been flipped onto his back and was in the middle of the road.. I decided to " right" him but a whole later when he hadn't hopped off I rescued him for some r and r with worms, meal worms and a slug for company in my shed for the evening ! Fingers crossed he will be feeling better by morning !
