Yangshuo: Floating

After a very picturesque boat trip on the Li River from Guilin to Yangshuo, complete with thunder storms which dashed in and out leaving tendrils of clouds clinging to the karst peaks, we opted for the extra experience of floating down a tributary river on grass. Big grass that is, bamboo rafts to be precise. Surreal.

Again I thank my lucky stars for yesterday's flight from Shenzhen, despite the 3-hour delay. Today it was chaos down there as the storm delayed or cancelled most flights, and flooded the airport.
