Not (much of) an April fool
Some of my brave colleagues raided the dressing up box and took to office forecourt this morning to promote fair pay.
The real value of UK pay packets has fallen by 7% since the 2008 crash, the longest fall in real wages since the Victorian times.
They're not asking for much, just enough to get some of the lowest paid (less than the living wage) off in-work benefits and more able to make ends meet.
I admire the courage to not mind looking foolish on behalf of others.
