A Foggy Walk

For most of the morning the Island was covered in thick fog causing a lot of disruption to the ferries across the Solent to Portsmouth and Southampton.

On my way to an opticians appointment in Cowes I walked through Northwood Park which was looking beautifully mysterious in the misty conditions.

By afternoon the fog had lifted and the remainder of the day was sunny and very warm with temperatures reaching the highest of the year so far.
