A flower suddenly appeared

PHOTOADAY - This flower suddenly appeared in the garden bed next to the ramp leading into Garden City, today. I frequent this area at least twice a week and to all who passed by this garden bed looked to be dead, the shrubs were all colours other than green.
What changed? Well last month a gardener cut (hacked) all the dead branches away, removed the rubbish from under the few twigs that remained, and it rained last weekend.
New life has suddenly appeared!
So why am I telling you this? This little Flower has changed my opinion of a section of my world that until today I had assumed to have, very little value.
I think there might be a lesson to be learn in this.
