Between fen and mountains

Telegraph poles

I am so used to seeing telegraph poles down the roads that it as always a bit of a surprise seeing them crossing the fields. They must be a bit of a pain for the farmers having to work around them. I had finished repairing by the middle of the afternoon so decided I would tackle the moss on the garage roof which bears comparison to a dank forest floor. I was taking half the gravel up with it so I could really do with a riddle which I don't possess. I don't think people riddle the cinders any more. It took me half an hour or so to clear about a square metre so there is plenty more work to do. I am tempted to leave it as only we see it but I believe it might eventually damage the felt.
