Cartagena

Our last stop before we have 2 sea days. Air conditioned mini bus price negotiated and off we went. We did Cartagena 4 years, so we wanted to see the sights we had missed, our taxi driver took us to the La Popa Monestary, built by Augustine Monks, this is the highest spot in Cartagena, with some breath taking views. Our ship is the one on the right, the other is a Princess cruise ship.

We then did a quick trip to a market, then onto the Hard Rock café for a beer and some nachos, then back to the ship.

Just before you enter the cruise terminal there is a small wild life area, with parrots, monkeys, flamingos etc. They are very tame and are well cared for and very photogenic.
