On his Break

I was out and about today meeting a few new contacts for the learners' network, and arrived back early this afternoon to find Murphy having a snack and a bit of rest and relaxation.

He'd been proof reading our new report and said that he thought it was beginning to come together. His feedback was that he thought it could be a bit shorter and maybe more to the point.

I think he's been reading the same things as me this week, because I'd only just said that another paper we were working on reminded me of that old Winston Churchill phrase, "This report, by its very length, defends itself against the risk of being read."
