The Florrie
The Florrie is a beautifully restored Grade II listed Victorian Building. Uniquely distinguished by intricate terracotta brickwork and architectural merit, The Florrie was built in 1889 by Sir Bernard Hall, a West Indies merchant, Alderman and former Mayor of Liverpool. He built the Florence Institute in memory of his daughter Florence, who tragically died at the age of 22. This spectacular building offers a distinctive space for a range of events. The magnificent Grand Hall is perfect for dinners, award ceremonies, conferences, receptions and weddings. It has been lovingly restored with high beamed ceilings, an elevated stage and purpose built fully licensed bar. The Florrie also offers breakout spaces, a heritage resource centre, library, gym and superb inhouse catering.
