Tempting glass

Called in to see my friend Avril Nicol this afternoon to see the latest exhibition in her new gallery &Collective in Bridge-of-Allan.


If I was not into serious de-cluttering I would be very tempted by the work of this young glass artist, Laura Smith, a graduate of Edinburgh College of Art.

She works with glass and copper to create unusual ethereal effects.

But I admired it and left it on the shelf.

Avril is the Project manager of Forth Valley Open Studios and she is busy finalizing our brochure for this year’s event in June.
