Peace climb

Somewhere between Currie and Bathgate (that's a full 18 miles of walking), we stopped for a piece of silliness.
Things I learned today about the Central belt. Dougal Haston was from Currie (Everest climber killed in an avalanche). James Young Simpson (discoverer of chloroform) from Bathgate, as did the silver for the Crown jewels.
Tonight we are sleeping on the floor of a church hall. Tomorrow we walk another 18 miles to Coatbridge.
