Peacock eye
Some people reckon Peacock feathers in the house is bad luck. I had bad luck before we got them and it hasn't got any worse. The feathers really confuse the camera more than the eye. I remember my science teacher, Mr. Grice, explained about how anything with tiny strands very close to each other or oil on water makes the light 'interfere with itself' (snigger in the classroom) and some of the light gets cancelled out, hence all the amazing colours. That was just before he set his desk on fire with phosphorus.
