Reno Panorama
stitched out of 3 pictures. Lovely light, cool temperatures and a day that went well, so far.
Thank you for all your kind comments on yesterdays blip. I was very pleased that you liked the Bedroom View number 7 (?) , even if I did not call it that way. :-)
When I notice with which pleasure I post pictures of this small town in a desert valley I think that I love this place now. Ten years ago, when I first came here, I thought it was pretty awful. I so missed all the big green trees from my hometown Hamburg in Germany. I only saw dryness and brown colors. When I look at the mountains now, I notice way more shades of blue and grey and I definitely notice big trees that are getting greener by the day. I think I am grateful that life put me here and gave me a chance to enlarge my view upon many things, not only the town Reno.
See more blue in Large!!
By the way, on the mountains on the left side of the picture, that are dark because they are in the shade of a cloud, where you see some "sticks", there is a big prison, the Desert Institute and TMCC (Truckee Meadow Community College) where I taught German for 3 years.
