The object , it was one of those object programmes the BBC made a few years back, was a fork. Which back in 1600-ish was considered "fancy posh foreign nonsense". (it was this fork- http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01g62pm )

Also, the theatre goers drank fizzy beer, and many folk complained about the pShhhh sound of those bottles being opened.

Bit misty, not as damp, bit milder. Looking forward to the sunny weather like.
