Unexpected photo opportunity
Mr M is sure that our new vehicle is narrower than its predecessor; I was sure that it's wider.
So, this afternoon, I drove to Job No. 2 and tried to enter the car park through the narrow stone arch. The old car used to go through, no problem, with about 4cm clearance on either side of the wing mirrors. The newbie obviously wasn't going to make it. Got out of the car and decided that it would be a bit too close for my liking even with the wing mirrors pushed in.
Managed to grab the one remaining parking space by the quayside. The good news - parking charges were scrapped on the 1st of this month, so it didn't cost me anything. And a blip opportunity after work...
PS. According to the specs., the new car is, indeed, 8.6cm wider than the old one!
