Great weather for penguins

Not so great weather for watching penguins. I managed to find a place where I was huddled up to protect me from the wind and snow, but I couldn't prevent my notebook getting covered.

I was observing their behaviour during moulting; how much they scratch and preen. The latter was complicated by their habit of moving like they're going to preen their back then taking a mouthful of snow that's built up.
