Mango Pops
It's mango season in this part of Mexico, and of the four varieties available here (over 400 worldwide) the small yellow Ataulfo is by far my favorite. The deep yellow/orange color, sweet aroma, juicy texture, and strong mango flavor can't be beat!
I peeled 10 mangoes, popped them in a blender, poured the smooth puree into little cups, put in a piece of wooden skewer, and placed them in the freezer.
Heaven on a stick.
