In Yer Face
Back to the grove to photograph my pet dragons. Once again, when I arrived at the scene there were no dragons, but as soon as I moved into position, they all came out, more than a dozen this time.
Conditions were cloudy and dull, so I had to up the ISO and settle for a lower shutter speed than I would have preferred. Most of the 70 shots were horrendously grainy, but this one was very acceptable.
I just had a phone interview for a job in China. I knew the agent calling me. I had to convince him that I was a changed man, as I had unfortunately developed a reputation for being quick tempered and losing my cool. Conditions are not going to be good in South China and are going to need a lot of patience.
The agent was happy with what I had to say, and so we are going forward to the next stage, and there will be a phone interview next week. I really hope this job happens, because I am getting a bit sick of being poor. It will be a year out of my life, but it should set me up for a reasonable retirement fund.
