The Giggle Glasses

Izzy received these silly specs free in one of her comics; she adores them. Whenever she puts them on, she starts cackling madly and makes everybody else giggle; her laugh is so infectious.

Had a wonderful day, lovely coffee with an old friend I haven't seen for a few years, and an email to say that my latest publication came out yesterday. I wrote a chapter on globalization and the transnational for this Critical Insight's book on Midnight's Children; there are some fantastic essays in this collection so I was honoured to be asked to contribute a chapter.
