Visit to Poppies

Our first visit of the holiday to Poppies Tea Room and Garden Centre, Saulmore Shore, By Oban. Wonderful friendly little place with a fab view and fantastic baking. This is their carved eagle by the upper car park, looking out over the Firth of Lorne.

The house where we stay is coming on the market, so this COULD be our last visit, depending if it sells quickly. We will miss it, particularly the amazing views from it, but we have all the happy memories wrapped up in our hearts:-)

Health update: my 3-monthly check showed a slight rise in tumour level but still a good result and way below the limit when I need to do something about it. Another few months of freedom (hopefully)
