Hand made
Up in the mountains today to Lefkara where (it seems still) the women make lace and the men sell it. Although described as lace it is what I would describe as a combination of cut-work and white-work. This lady was sitting on a stool outside her shop finishing off a large tablecloth by adding a lace edging. The whole beautiful cloth takes about three months to make and sells for around three hundred euros, not much for so much work
