..a post work drink with colleague Richard in the smokey Jazz Bar Racyme. I was the only woman, but men at this table very courteous and open when I asked to take a photo of their dice game.. Apparently they weren't playing for money but for the drinks. After being enocuraged to guess his age (77) I was told that this monsieur was un 'terroriste' who had spent 5 years in prison under the French. The history of this great country is murky and very painful.
