Ken's medication

Visiting my friend Ken this evening, Thursday, once a fortnight his tablets need to be sorted out for the following 2 weeks. He has Ankylosing spondylitis & high blood pressure, so he has a lot of medication to take to try to control the pain, blood pressure tablets, lithium (to manage the depression caused by his condition) & others to counteract other side effects. Amazingly, he never complains, just gets on with life as best he can, but hates doing the tablet routine, so we sort them out together & the have a cup coffee (Ken) & tea (me).
The other annoying thing is the amount of waste generated, this photo gives an idea of the packaging that cannot be recycled, there has got to be better solution.
